  1. 3) Poe scholars agreed the famous speech had likely been insion for Poe's story "The Tell-Tale Heart."
2)More than one assailant was involved in the conspiracy (the 2 brothers).
1)Richard Crowninshield pleaded non-guilty until finally confessing at the end of may when Joe Knapp confessed his role in the murder plot.

2)Hawthorne's family connection allowed him to have the lifelong interest in crime/inherited guilt, just like my family's connection to Public Relations drives me to want to persue that as my career.
1)I can connect to Poe's murderer declaring, I felt that I must scream or die...I admit the deed!" because when I am feeling guilty, I always admit something I felt I did wrong.

1)Were the scholar's theories right by believing that Hawthorne was the unknown writer in the newspaper articles?
