  1. I’m sorry
    I forgot that
    You told me to
    Empty the dishwasher

    Now we have
    No clean plates
    To use
    For Dinner

    I hope
    You can
    Forgive
    Me

  2. I bailed
    I left
    For a quick
    little theft

    I know you
    All shun
    But baking up
    A bun
    just isn't me

    If I may ask
    one little thing
    It's that you
    forgive a
    ding-a-Ling :)

    1. I have seen
      my presents
      they were in
      your closet

      And which
      you were probably
      saving
      For christmas

      Forgive me
      They were cool
      So nice
      Thank you.

    2. I like the theme of the poem as I can relate to it in light of the approaching holidays. I think you did a good job emulating William's mocking tone.

    3. I like Jade's because she did a good job of adding in what most people do during the holiday season, which is finding their presents intentionally or accidentally. I also think she made it work well with the tone William was trying to get at.

  3. I was not
    there when you
    needed me

    I was selfish
    You were
    always there
    for me

    Forgive me
    I was busy

    1. I like the vagueness. It can be applied to anything and has a very universal theme.

  4. I didn't listen
    when you told me
    that I shouldn't leave
my homework until the last day

    You told me
    to get ahead
    so I didn't have
    to do it last minute

    Now it's 12 A.M.
    the day before it's due
    I am stressed out, tired,
    And really sorry

    1. I like Carlye's poem because it has humor to it, and it's something a lot of students can relate to including me.

  5. I went out
    Even though
    You told me
    To stay in

    I hope your not
    Angry with me
    Because I
    Disobeyed you

    I'm sorry
    Forgive me
    I just wanted
    To have fun

    1. I really like Emma's because what her poem was about was something that a lot of teenagers can relate to.

  6. I wasn't
    There for you
    Even though
    You needed me

    As a result
    Our friendship
    Is worse
    Than ever before

    I'm sorry
    I needed a nap

    1. I like how Justin used the last line "I need a nap" to symbolize how tired he was because the friendship is collapsing and there's nothing he can do to stop it.

  7. I forgot
    That it was
    Indeed your birhday
    On this fine December day

    I was busy
    Making cookies
    And hanging tinsel
    Along the driveway

    Forgive me
    I got carried away
    So I now say
    Happy Birthday

    1. I really like Cassie's because sometimes we get so wrapped up in what were doing that we sometimes forget about the little things were supposed to remember. Its not that we intentionally forget its just that when your excited about something, it just slips your mind.

    2. I like this poem because this happens to all of us, where we forget many people's birthdays. Sometimes the only reason why we remeber people's birthdays is because of Facebook.

    3. I like this poem because it is really hard for me to remember birthdays so it can be applied very easily to my life.

  8. I forgot
    All about us
    And our friendship
    When times were hard

    I left you out
    In the cold
    When you needed me
    And I wasn't there

    But now I need you
    And you're not here
    You've moved on
    Because I wasn't near

    So now I apologize
The guilt is weighing on me
    I feel so bad
    Please forgive me.

    1. I think that Haley's poem is very meaningful because it is more serious than some of the others. It teaches us that we need to be there for our friends so they can be there for us. I like this poem because it has a lesson.

  9. I'm so sorry
    That I
    Forgot to
    Let the dog out

    She peed
    On the rug
    And its all
    My fault

    Next time
    I will
    Try to remember
    To let her out

  10. Im sorry
    I hurt you
    You cried
    I left

    But now I need you
    And you wont come
    I feel so forgotten
    I cant hide the hurt

    They say
    What goes around
    Comes around
    Never thought
Id be the one who got hurt.

  11. I’m sorry for the rain
I wish it would go away

    It only causes pain
no one wants it to stay

    If only it would stop
    then we could go outside

But first we’ll have to mop up
    that old soggy goat hide

  12. I've said I'm sorry
    What more do you want?
    I shouldn't have done it

    I'm sorry again
I will not do it again
Or you will yell at me again

    She's my little sister
    and sisters
    are supposed to fight

    1. The second line reminds me of Eminem's song Brain Damage... What more do you want from me? Anyways, I like this poem because it actually relates to my own personal life. Sometimes, my sister and I fight, but we never really mean it. We agree not to do it again.

  13. I'm sorry
    I yawned
    and sighed
    in class

    and which
    you probably
    thought
    I was bored

    Forgive me
    I was tired

    1. I like this poem because it's really easy for a majority of people to relate to. Everyone's always yawning in school because they have to wake up so early, not so much because they're bored.

  14. Forgive me
    I didn't have time
    To deal with
    Your problems
    As my own

    For which
    You were relying on me
    Because
    You were incapable alone

    But now I
    Feel better
    Because
    You're ruled out

  16. I ate all of it
    You told me
    not to eat it
    But I still did

    Please forgive
    me for my
    poor decision
    I was only hungry

    I’m sorry
    Don’t be angry
    I just wanted
    to devour everything
